My experience with Almanya Lojistik was a complete nightmare. Not only did they mishandle my furniture, resulting in severe damage upon arrival in Antalya, but they also refused to take responsibility for it. To make matters worse, they charged me an exorbitant amount, a staggering 60% more than the original price, after they had already taken possession of my belongings. Their lack of accountability and blatant overcharging are unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Almanya Lojistik and recommend seeking out a more reputable and honest service provider.

I recently shipped my furniture from Ankara Turkey to Eindhoven Netherlands. I contacted a person called Mr. Akin. He assured me that they will handle everything professionally and that i do not have to worry about anything. I checked the comments and reviews of this company online and i was more relieved that everything looks legitimate, however this was not the case. Firstly i gave him an exaggerated detailed list of all my furniture with pictures to give a rough estimate of the total cubic meters that my furniture will take. We agreed on a 150 euro per cubic meter which was an average price compared to other companies. Then Mr. Akin estimated that my furniture would be around 20-25 cubic meters and remember this was an exaggerated list that i provided. I then decided to leave out a couple of stuff which are around 5 cubic meters just to be safe and below 20 cubic meters of capacity to fit my budget. I also prepared some of the furniture for moving as a kind gesture although i paid for the full service of disassembly, packaging, and loading. I also prepared a breakfast for the workers to keep a positive atmosphere. On the moving day, they came on time and started loading the furniture from my house. There was a young translator on the phone from Mr. Akin’s end that handled translation between us. After they took everything to the truck, Mr. Akin calls me and talks in Turkish knowing that i don’t speak the language and then hangs up. I immediately call the translator to ask about what is happening and he assures me that everything is going well and i have nothing to worry about. I felt worried and told him specifically to not put me on a situation where they take my furniture to Istanbul customs and then change the agreement putting me in a difficult situation. The translator laughed and assured me again that this will never happen and that everything is going as we talked and agreed. So I thought i was paranoid a little and decided to continue. Mr. Akin did agree with me that he will provide a legal statement of everything they took from the house with all the details as soon as they finish loading, however no document was provided. They took off without giving any legal bills, documents, or listing. After two weeks, Akin calls me to let me know that the truck is in istanbul and that i will have to pay 1950 euros more on top of the agreement!!! This according to his words was due to my capacity exceeding the expected amount around 37 cubic meters! and offering to discount it to 33 cubic meters and negotiating capacity which makes no sense!!!. They did exactly what i was worried about and what I specifically asked them not to do! They created a lot of stories to act like the victim but basically i had no legal proof and i was left at their mercy. They said that if i do not accept then i will have to pay for the transportation from Ankara to Istanbul plus getting the furniture back by myself!!
I eventually had no option but to agree on the payment under the condition that i will only pay at the Netherlands when my furniture arrives. And of course the driver was instructed not to drop the furniture unless i pay first, and he did make an awful scene at the street shouting and acting like a thug. I was prepared to call the police but then when i paid him the money in cash he let me and my friends grab the furniture and unload it while screaming that we have to do it within an hour otherwise he will leave. Terrible nightmare and a big scam. PLEASE do NOT fall for the good reviews trap. I am writing my message out of frustration because i can not do anything else apparently. It is a lesson to never ship with partial shipping like that. If i had to do it again i would just rent a 20 feet container and look for someone to share it with me or even have the extra space empty to avoid dealing with this level of frustration. Also he did offer a guarantee for damage but when the Istanbul fiasco happened, he said that he will not be held responsible for any damage. I got a few things broken here and there. Thank god it’s over.
